Patience Versus Wanting To Know: the Battle Rages On

Today was the (obsessively exact, you say? Pish-posh, just punctual, don't you know) two-week-later date I'd heard about "a couple of weeks back" from a placement assistant in the PC D.C. placement offices, where my nomination is currently waiting patiently for its turn in the spotlight.

I, however, am turning to increasingly creative means of passing time these days: making four batches of chocolate-chip cookies last week; rocking out to the Hasbeen; seeing Little Miss Sunshine, which must be seen, it must, it really must; making Dan to-do lists with gmail (wheeee!). My very kind recruiter assured me that Friday could be a day by which more will be known.

We shall see, yes? Oh we certainly shall see. (That's incredibly hard to say ten times fast, you know. Try it! You'll see!)
