Sort of. In between all the shopping and the deciding and the packing and the moving and the eating and the cleaning and the running and the writing and the playing lots of scrabble with Dan and the little Sadie that I love so much, yes, kisses, right, puppy? I haven't had a chance to actually sit down and write, my darling. How long it's been.
Well, don't take that tone with me! Lots of it wasn't my fault, like the internet connection having been turned off for a bunch of days right in the middle there. We only just got it back last week, Tuesday, so that was only...nine...days...ago. Wait a minute. Aaaaagh! Time is doing that thing again, where it jumps around so quick.
Speaking of which, Dan and Ben and I watched a crazy cool existentialist sketch on comedy central the other night, where a dude discovers a time machine but to test it, sets it for 30 seconds in the future, which isn't enough time to realize what's going on and so it just repeats, endlessly, but with sort of generational genetic mutations, and ends up exploding. Neat.
And now, for the finale, I announce: the day is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes, and Sadie is nibbling my heels. To the deep blue, and beyond! Here's to the fall in Minnesota, the most lovely season of all! I have a feeling Ukraine is going to be just as glorious, if not more so. And so, I go!
