Friday afternoon, a busy week behind me.

What better to do than relax by reading some news on line for a bit? Great idea! Gee, look at this cool new website I found: Click here if you WANT to know - you were warned! Alright, cool, Condaleeza Rice plays classical piano. That's random and interesting. Oh, here's something about Lou Dobbs. Um, is he liberal or conservative? Anyway, let's check out this video-ohmygod, HOW CAN THIS MAN STILL BE PRESIDENT?! Why does he get to do things like this? Does he somehow envision a bold new future where things are simple, right? All lined up in nice, neat little rows? That it would be so much easier for all the little people to get along if the President just told them how to do it? Are spankings on the horizon?

I can see it now: the press conference of the future. The President points to a cartoon drawing and goes, "Here's the Bad Guys over here in this box. Bad!" And - big grin - then, "Here's the Good Guys. See? What-what's that you're asking? Constitutional rights? Well, you couldn't get to the store on the corner without making a right turn, now, could you? Sure, you know that four rights in a row is just as good as a left? Might as well make that an amendment right now, outlaw that other word when four rights would do just as good. Alright, just signing this here bill with that note at the bottom, then, and we're all set! Huh? What about signing statements? Unconstitutionality of presidential line-item veto? Aw, shucks! You're making noises, but I don't understand. Are you speaking English or what?" Aarrghh!!!

And now, for all you political sado-masochists out there, who know it's going to hurt but just have to go ahead and do it anyway, without further ado, I hereby commit to my first political commentary by posting a link to the offending video: The only universal constant is change, right?
